Stone Pelting On Vande Bharat Express In Telangana Railway Police Files Case Investigation Underway


Stone Pelting on Vande Bharat Express in Telangana: The incident of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat Express going from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam on Friday (February 10) has come to light in Mahbubabad district of Telangana. Railway officials said that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has taken cognizance of the matter and investigation is underway.

On the question of damage to Vande Bharat Express or broken window panes, the officials said, “It (damage) will be assessed when the train reaches Visakhapatnam.”

Who pelted stones at Vande Bharat train?

Officials told on the basis of preliminary investigation that it is suspected that some children might have pelted stones at the train, but the investigation is on. An official said that the matter is being investigated and the Railway Police has registered a case on its own.

Last month a window pane was broken

Significantly, even before the official launch of Vande Bharat last month, stones were pelted at the coaches of this train in the railway yard of Visakhapatnam, due to which a window glass was broken. Prime Minister Narendra Modi On January 15, this train was flagged off through digital medium.

Two more Vande Bharat trains flagged off

Let us inform that two more Vande Bharat trains were started on Friday (February 10) itself. Prime Minister Modi flagged off two Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai to Shirdi and Solapur. Modi first flagged off the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express at a function held at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in south Mumbai, and then flagged off another train connecting Mumbai to Sainagar Shirdi town in Ahmednagar district.

Will take so much time and rent

The Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express will cover the 455 km distance between Mumbai and Solapur in 6 hours 30 minutes, saving about an hour from the present time. Whereas, Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express will take 5 hours 25 minutes to cover a distance of 343 kms till Shirdi.

A Central Railway (CR) official said that the one-way fare for the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat train without catering service will be Rs 1,000 for ‘chair car’ and Rs 2,015 for ‘executive chair car’, while the one-way fare without catering will be Rs 2,015 for ‘executive chair car’. Also, the fare for these classes will be Rs 1,300 and Rs 2,365 respectively. He informed that the fare for one way journey from CSMT to Sainagar Shirdi without catering service will be Rs.840 and Rs.1670 for ‘Chair Car’ and ‘Executive Chair Car’ respectively while the ticket with catering service will cost Rs.975 respectively.
